Architectural practice Fletcher Rae has secured planning permission for a 20,000 sq ft storage warehouse and 5,550 sq ft cafeteria.
Fort Vale Engineering is developing the site at its Calder Vale Park base in Burnley.
Work is due to start in the spring of 2019 and be completed by the end of the year.
It marks the latest project between the two, with Fletcher Rae having worked with Fort Vale on a number of projects over the past decade including head offices, advanced manufacturing facilities, research and development buildings and a foundry.
Managing director Andrew Rae said: “We have a great working relationship with Fort Vale, one that has grown over the last 12 years.
“These latest planning applications reflect the progressive nature of our clients business and give us an opportunity to expand our design profile. This is represented in our design for new staff restaurant The Bistro, which draws inspiration from world famous architect Mies van der Rohe’, Barcelona Pavilion and takes many of its cues from the master’s work.”
